Karnatic Lab Festival 2005 7-8-12-13 May

The Karnatic Lab foundation has been organizing concerts, festivals, workshops and ensembles since 1999. 2005 will see the debut of the record label, Karnatic Lab Records.
 
The goal of the Karnatic Lab is to stimulate a living exchange between the music of today and traditional music from around the world.  This rich zone is explored through the presentation of non-western music or music similar to or influenced by that of other cultures.
 
This leads to an original programming where different styles of music confront each other on concerts. Karnatic Lab ensembles and guests perform, from new voices to proven masters.
 
The Karnatic Lab concerts take place monthly, followed by a festival at the end of each season.
